I was trying to think what has made this house so special over time to me and the best way I can explain it is truly as a work of art.  I can print off a picture from my computer, frame it and hang it on the wall.  It will cover up wall space and function.  The feeling it evokes, the majesty and appreciation for the artist however is nowhere to be found.  This house was logged and built by Johnson and Basey.  No house like it exists in the world.
