The Watson Homestead is one of the loveliest, and said to be the oldest, of the center chimney capes on the Hancock Point Peninsula.  Built in the late 1700s, when they knew how to site houses, this one sits on slightly elevated 2.05 acres with a small field on the southerly line and stately pines, spruces, a few old apple trees on the north side, and surrounded by conservation land.
