The property features an assortment of both merchantable hardwood and natural pine.  Access to the property is excellent with Calhoun RD #259, a gravel county road, bisecting the land. Some utilities can be found along this county road allowing for camp/home site potential within the Hampton School District. The topography is generally flat to gently rolling.  According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property is based upon an assortment of sandy and silt-loams which give the tract a weighted average site index of 88.1 for Loblolly Pine (base age 50).
