The Caney Creek 60, tract #17, is a ±60-acre tract located in the western portion of Evangeline Parish, about ten miles southeast of Oakdale, LA and nine miles West of Reddell, LA.  Most of the timber was harvested from this tract in 2005.  It now has a 19-year-old stand of mixed pine and hardwood natural regeneration but is primarily hardwood.
