Brewster County has the largest "Dark Sky"  community in the world where you and your family can enjoy the stars without dealing with "light pollution", This is one of the reasons this area is special to families getting away from the stress of city life, even if just for the weekend. It is just minutes from Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park with the nearest gas/grocery store in Study Butte located at the entrance of Big Bend.   Terlingua Ranch at the lodge has cabins, RV and tent camping, a cafe, a swimming pool, and even a dirt runway for fly-in guests. You will find the office staff helpful, and friendly and are there during normal business hours to answer your questions. They do not sell land.  The "Lodge" is 16 miles off Hwy Highway 118 South, back to the north of the Ghostown.  Terlingua Ranch has a maintenance fee of $210.46 that takes care of keeping the roads up and running. This is not an HOA.  When planning a trip to our area, be sure to allow for at least a day to preview.
