NEW BARNDOMINIUM...Now that I have your attention, let's talk about this gem of a property you are looking into. This is an excellent example of what a "turnkey" hunting property is, and it's complete with a new barndominium and 3 stall horse barn with a HUGE loft!! Turning into the driveway to this property I was very impressed by the appearance of the newly constructed buildings. The owner and I toured the horse barn first, 3 stalls and a loft nearly the entire length of the barn give plenty of room for storing probably almost anything you could want to store! Next we toured the barndominium, entering through a man door into the "garage area" you will find a large open area with high open joist ceilings. As you make your way into the "finished" part of the basement you will find an open area unfinished with plumbing for an additional restroom, foam insulated exterior walls, and windows throughout. The openness of the ground floor will allow the new owners to customize this building to suit their needs. On the second floor you will find the living quarters. The living quarters consists of a huge walk in pantry, an open floor plan, and one bedroom. The barndominium currently has no electric and is not wired, the owner finished the inside of the living quarters with metal siding so removing the panels to run electric would not be extremely difficult and the new owners can put outlets wherever they would want. There is electric on a pole in the yard between the barn and barndominium. You can exit the kitchen area through double doors that lead you to a deck that is almost the entire length of the barndominium. The land this property has to offer is what deer hunters dream of. Just off the back of the barn is a 2-3 acre area that could be food plotted, and as a bonus the owners had some left over supplies from building and built a blind overlooking this area. A creek flows through the middle of this property and appears to have water year round. Mature timber litters most of the acreage this farm has to offer. Included in the sale will be numerous treestands, 3 ground level blinds and one elevated blind. The owner informed me that every time he hunted this year he saw several deer and several wild turkey. Deer sign is all over this property, rubs and heavily traveled corridors are not in short supply with this farm. Topography on this tract is diverse but trails make accessing stands very easy. Surrounding properties are generously sized and many practice QDM per the current owner. I can't find a more turnkey hunting property including a beautiful new barndominium on the market.
