The Hiouchi Hamlet is a Convenience Store, Gas Station, Storage Facility and Food Concession.  Situated in the heart of Hiouchi, it is a destination retail store and the central gathering pace for fishermen, kayakers, river-goers and Nat'l/State Parks visitors from all over the world, who come to see our towering Redwoods.  The store has a hood/fan system and offers limited food services.  there is also an area for purchasing bottled gas and air/water for the service station, as well as 2 public bathrooms.  These amenities have been recently updated to meet petroleum operation requirements and ADA standards.
