The exposed wood and beams on the ceiling were gorgeous and even the hardwood floor, in it’s poor condition added to the cozy feeling of the home. One of our favorite things has been waking up to snow and looking out the living room windows into the back yard. The large lot truly gives a peaceful private cabin feel. Playing in the fresh snow in the back yard over the years has been absolutely magical. The views from the front of the house are just as beautiful. The dogwoods in the winter with snow are absolutely gorgeous and in the spring the colors and flowers are stunning. Even doing dishes looking at the front window has been peaceful. The rooms are spacious and when having people stay with us, there has been plenty of room for all. On those chilly mornings, we love being close to Alicia’s to easily enjoy their delicious food. Over the years we have also come to appreciate our driveway, it’s relatively level compared to others and has made navigating the car in and out, in snowy conditions a breeze.
