Big Leaf Cabin is a wonderfully sunny place to use as your basecamp for all kinds of adventures in the gorge!  The screened in porch, fantastic firepit, wonderfully forested view and quiet end-of-the-road location all invite both relaxation and rejuvination. Big Leaf is a SEMI-OFF GRID backcountry cabin that does not have regular running water, but does have full electric service, rainwater catchment and filtered potable water provided for your use as well. The kitchen includes an electric stove, oven, 3/4 fridge, foot-pump sink, drip coffee pot, cookware, dishware, soap, and linens. A 5-gallon water dispenser is next to the fridge with two 5-gallon jugs provided for cooking and cleaning—ask for more if needed.The dining area has a table for four, with additional seating on the screened porch and near the fire pit. The bathroom features a flush toilet, small sink, and an outdoor shower. Big Leaf sleeps up to 6, with a twin and queen bed in the loft, plus a full bed and futon downstairs.All furnishings will convey with the property.Around 10 min to Muir Valley Nature Preserve and climbing area.
