3 Bedroom apartment like new, fully equipped and furnished with a suite, with 3 bathrooms, 2 parking spaces and a storage room on floor -1, on the 4th and top floor of a new and well-known development in Vila do Conde, which is located in a privileged location between the beach and the Metro line.In the words of the current owner whos selling her apartment: I really have nothing but good things to say about it. I wish I did not have to sell it. The basics include 3 bedrooms, 2 full and 1 half bath. There is a laundry room and loads of storage space. I have a storage room in the garage area with around 12sqm. There is separate garage parking for 2 cars and it is the best parking spot in the whole building.This apartment was originally meant for the person who sold the land on which the building was built. There are ocean views from all of the windows. The apartment hasan A energy rating and there are solar panels on the roof. I am the first owner/occupant of the apartment. Since owning this apartment I have made several improvements.I repainted the apartment and added some wallpaper to the bedrooms and one of the baths and added some curtains.It is at the top of the entire building with only a neighbor on one side, therefore, it is really quiet. I love to hear the ocean at night and in the morning when the waves arecrashing. It is a very airy and sunny apartment. In the morning there is sun on the terrace and into the kitchen and living/dining room area, it travels to the bedroom sideof the apartment to warm those rooms in the afternoon and evening hours. During the summer if you open the kitchen slider a bit and the middle bedroom window there is a nice Cross breeze to cool any summer heat. Sunsets are gorgeous from the windows.The building has a great mix of international owners. There are people from Portugal, France, Netherlands and the US. People are very friendly and look out for one another. The building is very clean, and the location is optimal because it is only a short distance to many grocery stores, bakeries, the ocean (a 10 minute walk), restaurants, the metro (So Brs and Portas Fronhas) is about a 6-7 minute walk. The new Health Care Center is being built about 1 km from here. Hospital da Luz in Pvoa has great health care and is about 3 km away. Dental care is also excellent here. There is an ocean promenade with a bike lane and the beaches are beautiful. While there is beach traffic in the summer months, this apartment building is away from the majority of it and parking is much easier. There is also easy access to the highway. If you take the metro from Pvoa to Estdio de Drago it takes about an hour unless on the express which cuts it by 15 minutes. If you drive to Porto it takes about 25 minutes. The river Ave is on the south end of Vila do Conde and there is quite the boating, kayaking, paddle boarding community. The largest kayak builder in the world, Nelo is about 10 km away to the South. Vila do Conde is on the Caminhos de Santiago route. Its a wonderful city which is upscale and in close proximity to Porto. There are some really great restaurants. The Municipal building offers many concerts and literary events and has a movie theatre. So, one can have the best of both worlds, the hustle and bustle of a big city and the ability to return home to the peaceful sound of the ocean. That being said, Vila do Conde is very active from a cultural and arts perspective. There is always something going on. The community is very welcoming and the expat community here is growing rapidly. Go to Porto on a Friday evening and you will meet up with many of them. The community volunteer loves ex-pats and welcomes our contributions to volunteer efforts. We are also right next to Pvoa de Varzim which has a slightly different vibe but equally has so many activities and resources people can take advantage of.In summation, Vila do Conde is a place which is very special in my heart, a fantastic place to live and incorporate into
