The Águas Livres Aqueduct, whose arches are one of the symbols of Damaia and can be appreciated next to the Cp station, is a complex system of water collection, adduction and distribution to the city of Lisbon, in Portugal, and whose most emblematic work is the grandiose stonework that rises over the Alcântara valley.
The Aqueduct was built by King João V in the eighteenth century, originating at the source of Águas Livres, in Belas, Sintra, and the Aqueduct was built by King João V.
