INFORMATION ACCORDING TO THE PDM PRODUCTION FOREST AREAS Article 66 Identification and Uses 1 The Production Forest Areas, delineated and identified in the Land Use Plan Classification and Qualification of Land with the code FP, correspond to areas designated for the exploitation of productive potential as authorized by the relevant authorities, where forestry standards and production function models, as defined in the PROF-EDM, are prioritized. This is done while maintaining a multifunctional perspective for forest spaces in this program, as specified in Annex IV. 2 In areas within this subcategory, with erosion risks, steep slopes, or near watercourses, forest production must follow good cultural practices outlined in the PROF-EDM for protection functions and for areas sensitive to erosion risk, adopting best practices for soil and water conservation in species selection, stand establishment, and forestry exploitation techniques, among others, in accordance with current legislation. 3 Without prejudice to any restrictions arising from applicable legislation and other standards of this plan, including those established here, the following occupations and uses are compatible and complementary: a) Agriculture, forest occupation with native species, silvopasture, and pastoralism, respecting the topography, particularly by working the land according to contour lines and existing watercourses; b) Facilities directly related to agricultural and forestry activities; c) Installations for rural fire monitoring, prevention, and firefighting support; d) Collective-use areas, infrastructures, and facilities which, by their nature and size, cannot be located on urban land, provided that the lack of alternative locations is duly substantiated, and municipal interest is recognized. e) Infrastructures and facilities supporting recreation, leisure, and tourism activities, associated with the utilization of natural features of forest areas, provided that the areas identity, environmental, and heritage value is preserved; f) Tourist developments, including hotel establishments in categories such as hotels and inns, rural tourism, holiday rentals, golf courses, camping, and caravan parks; g) Single-family residential buildings, only when they are pre-existing structures and the expansion is intended to improve living conditions. Article 67 - Buildability 1 Without prejudice to applicable legislation, buildability must comply with the parameters and conditions outlined as follows: - Support directly linked to agricultural and forestry activity with a maximum buildable index of 0.02 m/m of the farm area; maximum building height of 2 floors and up to 10 meters high. - Collective-use infrastructure and facilities with a maximum buildable index of 0.30 m/m of the parcel area; maximum height of 3 floors and up to 13 meters high. - Infrastructure and facilities supporting recreation, leisure, and tourism activities with a maximum buildable index of 0.05 m/m of the parcel area; maximum building height of 1 floor and up to 4.5 meters high. - Tourist Developments with a maximum buildable index of 0.10 m/m of the project area, which may be exceeded by up to 50% of the pre-existing area; maximum height of 2 floors and up to 7 meters high. - Residential building expansion with a maximum buildable index of 50% of the existing buildability; impervious area up to 300 m; maximum height of 2 floors and up to 7 meters high. 2 For interpretation and application of the parameters and concepts outlined above: a) The farm area corresponds to all contiguous properties of the same owner; b) The impervious area corresponds to the total area existing, pre-existing, and to be expanded, including access, infrastructure, landscaping, annexes, and othe
