From dream to reality 
Ds Tavira presents this fantastic centenary villa carefully rehabilitated in July 2023.
The main access to this property is through an entrance where it has a façade covered with tiles from the beginning of the last century. On the ground floor of this house you can count on two master suites, separated by an interior patio, with the floor covering in Santa Catarina, typical of the region. There was a concern to make excellent thermal and acoustic insulation of the walls and ceilings. At the entrance to the south you can count on an entrance hall and an office with a stone floor with an age that is difficult to define, but certainly more than 100 years old, a laundry room and a garage prepared with pre-installation for charging the cars of the future.
 
The main access to the first floor is made by a staircase covered in stone and tiles properly maintained and treated. On this floor you will find a very well decorated house, with the floor, ceilings and shutters of origin in wood that have been meticulously treated, varnished and painted. The master suite on this floor has 30 m2 and a bathroom that separates the closet with 15m2. In front we have a living room with 30m2, next to it a TV room, another bedroom and another suite. From the dining room you have direct access to the office and the hallway, the kitchen is fully equipped and gives access to the south-facing terrace.
 
In the attic on the second floor, it was formerly the maids' room and today the favorite space of teenagers. It gives access to the roof that has been all checked, both the structure of the roof, as well as the introduction of a sub-tile and the tile that has been practically all cleaned piece by piece and reused.
 
In this property you can count on air conditioning, solar panels for water heating and for electricity supply. The idea is to try to make the most of the 300 days of sunshine a year that we have in this region and transform the energy that allows this house to be self-sufficient in electricity consumption and water heating.
All exterior frames are made of double-glazed wood from a certified production and assembly company.
The main concern in the rehabilitation of this building was to give a new life to this house without neglecting the preservation of the original materials so as not to detract from this property.
