Inserted in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, one of the most beautiful (and least known) protected landscapes in the country, this old train station, completely refurbished, welcomes you in the same bucolic environment that welcomes travelers since 1880. 

The recreation of the atmosphere of a traditional Portuguese guesthouse has not made us forget the modern needs for comfort. In addition to the 6 comfortable rooms with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and other amenities, we have cozy common areas, such as the dining room, where you can enjoy a simple but delicious breakfast, the kitchen, where you can prepare or share a meal, the terrace and the garden. 

But Pensão Destino is more than accommodation; it is part of a wider project, which aims to contribute to support local communities and promote a more sustainable environment from an ecological point of view. In addition to recycling old furniture, we want to offer local products, organize different types of cultural events, and rent indoor and outdoor spaces for celebrations, workshops and other events. We also have a cultural entertainment team with experience in the production of theater, music and dance shows, organization of parties and entertainment for children, with specific activities in circus arts, story time, expression and movement. 

Short walks will put nature enthusiasts in front of an authentic paradise of biodiversity. We have also prepared our own birdwatching guide for the Castelo de Vide and Marvão area. Natural pools, megalithic circuits and trails for hiking or cycling are other easily accessible attractions, and in the vicinity are some of the most beautiful and authentic Portuguese villages, offering scenic views of their medieval alleys, decorated with flower pots and surrounded by cloths. of wall.
