The parish of Pinzio is home to stone houses that are still preserved and in its surroundings there are beautiful granite outcrops, crossed by Ribeira das Cabras and is made up of, in addition to the village of Pínzio, the annexes of Miragaia, Cheiras, Abadia and Trocheiras. During its history it belonged to the municipality of Jarmelo (until 1853) and the municipality of Guarda (until 1895).
