Peredo de Bemposta, Parish of the Municipality of Mogadouro, district of Bragana, covers an area of about 18.6 km2. This Parish is located to the east of the village of Mogadouro, in the Northeast of Trs-os-Montes, about 20 km from the seat of the Municipality. It is bordered to the east by Spain, with the Douro River as its natural border.Heritage-wise, the Romanesque Church of Algosinho, the Mother Church of Peredo, the cemetery and necropolis excavated in the rock, in Algosinho, stand out.The Parish of Peredo da Bemposta and Algosinho are located in the protected area of the Douro International Natural Park (PNDI). The cliffs of the Douro River, the Falconeira area and the large areas of vineyards and the Pombais are paradisiacal places for those who visit us.
