Excellent land next to a stream with a stone house, trees, great sun exposure, in a quiet location.Vila de Penela is located in the Center region of the country, it is nicknamed Vila Prespio, due to its beauty and physical and geographical disposition.Walking through the county, the visitor comes across numerous heritage legacies, such as the Pelourinho de Penela, the Churches of So Miguel, Misericrdia (16th century) or Santa Eufmia (Renaissance), among many others scattered throughout the municipality.The Municipality of Penela is also rich in mountain villages with its well-preserved typical rural architecture, such as Ferraria de S. Joo, in the parish of Cumieira, being equally rich in its natural mountain beauty.Close to Penela is the village of Rabaal, with its remarkable Villa Romana dating back to the 4th century AD, and its beautiful valley, where a famous herb comes from: the herb of Santa Maria, which is said to be the enigma for the excellent flavor of its Cheese, made from a mixture of sheep and goat milk.
