The historic House that we make known to you, is a property with many memories, located in a central area of Oeiras, where it hosted for many years the well-known Princess Isabel School. 

A historic building that maintains its original design, inserted in a vast plot of 2,335.00m2, with enough depth to also be accessed through the small square that makes up the back street. 

This house, although inserted in a very urban environment, is privileged by the green mantle that surrounds it, giving charm to its pre-existing one, as we unveil it through the vegetation. We find stone details, such as the stonework in the openings, stairs on the main façade and exterior pillars. The architectural details of the time, such as the exterior guards, the detail of the main entrance door and the thickness of the walls, link the quality of the building.

The property consists of 2 floors above the threshold level and one below. In the times when it functioned as a school, teaching activities took place on the upper floors and those of a more playful nature were divided between the outside and the basement. It is very bright, has openings on the two side facades and also has 2 entrance openings on the back façade. It is through this façade that you can access it.

The wooden floors are all original and it is possible to find some equipment from the construction season throughout the house, throughout its interior. 

As for its orientation, the main façade faces south, being privileged in terms of sunlight even in winter and autumn, however, as the house has openings in the 3 facades, it always has a lot of lighting, (East/West).

Although flanked by other properties, also houses, the way it is located on the land and the distance between the adjoining walls, enhances the sense of privacy. This same more intimate environment is starred by vegetation, size of trees and density of green area.

Because it functioned as a School, the existence of temporary pavilions makes them easily removed.
