Doca is a project whose architectural and constructive design was based on the Passive House concept and had the partnership of the University of Aveiro.The building combines passive solutions, the design of glazed openings and shading panels according to solar orientation, construction systems with generous thermal insulation, airtightness, high-efficiency mechanical solutions, air conditioning and domestic hot water production equipment with high energy performance and ventilation equipment with heat recovery that guarantees constant renewal and filtering of the air inside the apartments, creating a cleaner environment from dust, viruses, bacteria, pollen and other fine particles.The result is a building with high thermal comfort all year round, acoustic comfort and indoor air quality, achieved with very low energy consumption, resulting in highly satisfactory results.Sophistication in the small details and an inspiring environment, full of light and energy that promotes creativity.There is a feeling of space and harmony, an extension of the calm we find outside.
