He Fap Building - "Casas de Camões", erected in the 20's, had been built with the purpose of housing a permanent residence and an automobile workshop, belonging to the creator of the 1st Portuguese sports car brand: Fap. Result of the meeting of an engine and chassis from two very distinct automotive concepts, a Fiat Furgoncino and an Adler sports car, designed by Fernando Palhinhas, hence the Fap acronym.
The building includes a residential part in the vertical body, with a total of four apartments, and four villas in the horizontal body intended for short-term rentals.

This one bedroom Duplex, registered as a service property, and available for being used as a short-term rental or your own residence, is part of the horizontal body of the project, composed of four identical units, with private terrace and garden.
It has an inverted typology, the ground floor opens to a hall, which divides the intimate area by a wall and gives access to the stairway to the social floor. 
Still on the ground floor we have the suite with built-in closets and access to a garden.

 On the social floor, the stairway has natural light filtered through a skylight. There we find an open space kitchen, fully equipped, facing west and flooded with light. The room also leads onto a terrace.
 The social bathroom has natural light as a result of the ceiling velux. 
The spacious feeling is accentuated by the high ceiling of the room. 
The room temperature is controlled by air conditioning and the hot water is provided by a heat pump and solar panels.

The location is central, walking distance from downtown Porto, and from literally every kind of service and transportation (Bus, Subway, Restaurants, Bars, etc)
It should also be mentioned that the work is not the result of mere renovation, but of an entirely new project with the exception of the facade, where the building's entrance hall is located, with decoration alluding to the building's automobile past.
In this space there is a support office for the short-term residences where the described one bedroom villa is located, access to the residential part of the building is located in the vertical body of the facade, and to the villas.
All fractions have parking, in stalls for electric two-wheelers with individual lockers.
