Douro farm, located in Castelo de Paiva, opposite the town of Entre-os-Rios and Torro.It consists of a main house, caretaker's house, chapel, threshing floor and two granite tanks, cultivated land, pine forest and eucalyptus.The farm has a microclimate.The main house, with 404m2 ABC, has Douro design and was built, by the deeds in the possession of the owners, around the year 1820, having been rebuilt later in the early 1930s. It has two floors with the following composition:- First floor: five shops, one of them with a stone mill.- Second floor: a dining room, a living room, seven bedrooms, two bathrooms, two balconies and a kitchen.The caretaker's house has 104 ABC, consisting of three rooms, bathroom, a shop and a space for cattle and goats.The chapel was for many years the center of the festivities of S. Joo and has authorization for religious celebrations.The threshing floor is made of granite with a red tile roof. Space for threshing corn in granite.The farm is naturally divided into an agricultural area and a forest area.The agricultural area is made up of plots of land wooded by chestnut, walnut, australian and other trees that were born and grew spontaneously, thanks to the predominance of water in the land.The fields have stone slopes and are mostly joined by a stone staircase.The forest, composed of eucalyptus and pine forest, faces the river directly in about 150 linear meters to the north and another 150 meters to the south.The farm has an estimated area of 52000m2.
