Carrazeda de Ansiães, Bragança

The Casa de Selores is a manor, a property of municipal interest since 1977 (Decree 129/77). It had several phases of construction, particularly in the 19th and 15th centuries. It is the most notable manor house in the municipality of Carrazeda de Ansies, and a reference throughout the region. Namely its chapel, dating from 1616, which has a vault in stonework of great quality. The house has 2 floors, 450 m2 of current construction area, which can be increased. It has several shops on the ground floor and several housing compartments on the 1st floor, and has a patio with about 4, 100m2, of fertile land and easy to irrigate, with a well and an adjoining stream. The house is located in the village of Selores, 4.5km from the county seat Carrazeda de Ansies, on the municipal road that goes to the Douro River and the S da Ribeira pier (9km away).The house is very close to the beautiful and panoramic castle of Ansies, with its 2 Romanesque churches (2 km away). It was inhabited until 2001, but needs some general remodeling works. A part of the initial house currently belongs to a neighbour, but its main part is the subject of this advertisement. It is the desire of the current owner that the house be acquired by a person or entity with sensitivity to the artistic and heritage value of this property. The house was the subject of a recent study by students and a professor at the Faculty of Architecture of Porto. And it is included in national books, namely Solares de Portugal by Carlos de Azevedo. The manor house and patio have a Declaration attributed by CCDR-N, as a project included in the Collective Strategy of the Douro-Wine Region, for possible hotel accommodation, which facilitates approvals, licensing and financial support.Note: We have architectural surveys of the manor, and topographic survey of the patio, which may be made available.
