In a mini hamlet, just below the perched village of Alferce in the Monchique Mountains, lies this with taste and comfort partially renovated farmhouse , already with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a utility room, a garage and the potential for more. The separate ruin with a floor area of 80 m2 is formally used for storage and lies between the buildings of the other owners in the hamlet. Attached to this ruin is a plot of 1.8 ha, which runs uphill from here towards the old ruined 'Castelo de Alferce', one of the most beautiful viewpoints on Monchique.

Alferce is a small municipality on the Monchique mountains with beautiful scenery and, recently, a beautifully landscaped boardwalk from the village to the Castelo (at the top of this plot). The village has a few cafes and a mini-supermarket. For the real shopping you drive in 15 minutes to the town of Monchique with various amenities and a large supermarket.  To the coast you drive in 40 minutes and to Faro airport takes just over an hour.
