Details:- Lion's Court - a historic two-level arcaded house located in Gdańsk. According to Prof. Ignacy Tłoczek, it is the oldest arcaded house in Poland built in 1600 and the oldest building of this type in the so-called Żuławy Group[2]. The building has been listed in the register of monuments since 18 December 1959.[3]

The facility is located at today's St. Adalbert's Route in the area of the Lipce housing estate in Gdańsk. Lwi Dwór is a typical building for the then buildings of Żuławy. It belongs to the group of rural homesteads of Żuławy and Powiśle characterized by a combination of a granary with a residential building. The building in a plan of 12x20 meters, with a gable arcade, originally contained a flat with an area of 180 m² in the ground floor and a low floor and attic used for economic purposes. In its purpose, it served as a grain warehouse with an apartment for the owner. Originally, the skeletal structure of the building was filled with clay on wooden swords, and the eight-span arcade on the poles stiffened and tied the swording to the cap. Ignacy Tłoczek believes that the building - due to its large cubic capacity of about 1660 m³ - belongs in its structural type to the group of the largest residential and commercial buildings used in its era in Polish[4].

Lion's Manor, still on the list of Gdańsk monuments, was sold into private hands for the purpose of a hotel and conference facility.

Currently, the facility runs an employee hostel.
