252 Valencia is a large beautiful mountain home with scenic mountain views from the back and a view of the Pacific Ocean from the front. We have year round temperatures of 23-28 (74-84F). We have a dry season which is sunny, breezy and cool from mid-December until mid-April. Then the rainy season comes, which means some showers almost daily especially in September, Ocotober, November. It rarely rains longer than a few hours at a stretch, if that long. The weather is near perfect on a daily basis. We are in a gated community (Altos del Maria) and are very safe with no issues in our 12 years of residence. Our house has all amenties including washer/dryer, stove/oven, fridge with in the door water/ice dispenser, dishwasher, ceiling fans in every room, including bathrooms and a full house generator if the power fails (not often). We have 3 bedrooms furnished and we use the 4th bedroom and full bathroom for our extra fridge/upright freezer and storage area. It can be reversed to a maid's quarters very easily. There are 3 bathrooms ensuite, and the half bath is on the terrace for use from the pool. There is the availability to have an outside shower. We do not have air con or heat as it is not necessary however, we have the 220v available should you want air con installed. We have a 2-car covered carport with light. It is located at the bottom of a hill away from the main road so that cars passing do not affect us and there are only 4 other houses on our half mile paved road. The kitchen is large enough to cook for a crowd with a large glassed in dining room. It is an open floorplan so that while one cooks, they are not cut off from their guests. It is a lovely setting for parties on the pool deck and back terrace. We have a maid and a gardener from the local village, both work for $5 an hour. This is a wonderful lifestyle for retirees. We will remain in our area but wish to move to the Highlands above us. The price is negotiable. We would love to show you our home, please visit!
