RANGITATAU EAST ROAD, Whanganui East, Manawatu / Whanganui

Rangitatau Forest is a second rotation Pinus Radiata Forest located in the Whanganui Region. Contained within two freehold titles, with a combined legal land area of some 408 hectares and a Net Stocked Area (NSA) of 334 hectares. Whanganui is a renowned area for forest growers as evident by the extent of plantation forests in the surrounding area and throughout the district. 
 
The block sits between 300-500m in altitude with the roading network and skid sites meticulously placed throughout the block. Rangitatau was planted between 2018-2020 with a further 22ha area planted in 2022.
 
Registered in the Emissions Trading Scheme under the Stock Change method the total area registered in the ETS is 334.4ha, allowing for passive income through earning NZUs.
