Just 25km from central Nelson, and alongside State Highway 6 lies the Blue Hill Forest. The forest comprises 26ha of mature pine forest with the balance of the 88ha title covered in native forest. 

The pine forest was established 1983-1985, has been thinned, and now is almost ready for harvest. The forest has been mapped, inventory was completed in 2021 and yields are forecast at approximately 19,000tonnes.

The property has a network of old roads (now overgrown) which lead right from near the state highway, to the top ridgeline at Blue Hill, where the property borders the Cable Bay Adventure Park.

Once the pine forest is logged it may have potential for an off-grid lifestyle dwelling, mountain bike tracks, or forest retreat. With no other houses within a kilometre of the property you will have the opportunity for some real privacy.

Please note: the property does not currently have vehicle access from the highway, however it does have 1.3km of road frontage.
