Moxons Beach Club is a 25-key hotel, located in Boscobel, St. Mary on Jamaicas North Coast, offering breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and a mile-long protected reef ideal for snorkeling. Just five minutes from Jamaicas newest International Airport, the hotel spans four levels, cascading to a private beach with two large piers. Guests can enjoy a natural beach, lounging terraces, beach jetties, a pool with an expansive deck, restaurant, gym and a gift shop which enhance its exclusive atmosphere. Named after Timothy Moxon, the British actor known for his role as James Strangways in Dr. No, the property rose to prominence in the 1970s as a popular restaurant under his brother Oliver. It became a favorite among celebrities like Dean Martin, Elizabeth Taylor, Henry Kissinger, Mick Jagger and Bob Marley. Johanne MacDonald, the current owner-operator, acquired Moxons in 2005 and transformed it into the boutique hotel it is today. The hotel is being sold as a going concern, and its new owner would not only be getting an operating hotel, but a commercial property that can be adapted to fit numerous niche resort models.
