Details :- Reference: AUDH-T3571. Location: Cannaregio, Venice<br />The Cannaregio sestiere is the second largest in Venice after Castello and the most populated. In this sestiere is the Ghetto di Venezia, which can be reached by crossing the Ponte delle Guglie bridge and walking along the Strada Nova, the main artery of the whole, leading from Santa Lucia station to Rialto. This approximately 25-minute journey begins at the foot of Ponte degli Scalzi and the church of Santa Maria degli Scalzi and ends in Campo dei Santi Apostoli.<br /><br />The flat boasts an extremely convenient location, being in the lively Cannaregio district just a few steps away from palaces and historical monuments such as the very close Ca D' Oro, the Misericordia Abbey or the city centre itself with the Rialto Bridge and market that can be reached thanks to the Santa Sofia ferry.<br /><br />On one of the busiest fondamente of Cannaregio, we enter a grand wooden door to find ourselves in a silent stone androne, which hosts a mysterious marble puteal from the 1600s,<br />decorated with statues. We walk up a flight of stairs to take the lift up to the third floor where our apartment waits for us. As soon as you step in the apartment, you are drawn to the windows facing the northern lagoon and the mountains in the distance. Above the roofs, the peacefulness makes us forget the busy<br />fondamenta we arrived from. We find ourselves in the living room, its walls decorated with delicate glass ornaments from Murano and lit up by the beautiful chandelier hanging from the<br />wooden beams above our heads. As we make our way to the right, a spacious kitchen opens up to us, with hidden pocket doors for the option to separate the spaces. The kitchen is equipped<br />with an oven, dishwasher and a full size fridge, as well as a table and chairs. We proceed through the corridor and on our left, we find the master bedroom and the same breathtaking views we saw from the living room. A door on the right leads to a first bright windowed bathroom equipped with two sinks and a spacious shower. Following the corridor we arrived from to the<br />end, we find on our left, another bathroom equipped with a large shower bath while on our right, we find a series of cupboards offering plenty of space for storage.
