This charming country house with outbuilding and swimming pool offers a beautiful view of Lake Trasimeno and is located directly on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The village of Tuoro sul Trasimeno is around 3 km away, the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona 15 km and the provincial capital of Perugia 35 km. The house, whose origins date back to the 18th century, is nestled in 3.6 hectares of terraced olive groves. The wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors have allowed the building to retain its authentic character. On the ground floor there are 3 interconnecting living rooms with 2 large French windows providing plenty of light. On this level there is also a bedroom and a bathroom with travertine tiles. An open staircase leads to the dining area with wood-burning stove for cooler days and the kitchen, which in turn leads to the garden. A large carob tree in front of the house provides pleasant shade on hot days.The first floor is accessed internally via a staircase or externally via a typical loggia with a small covered terrace in front from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Trasimeno.The centrepiece of the upper floor is a spacious living room with an antique fireplace. From here you can access the two bedrooms at the front of the house and 3 further rooms, one of which is a walk-through room with a mezzanine, a bathroom and an en-suite bedroom with a jacuzzi. Not far from the main house is the outbuilding consisting of a kitchen-living room with fireplace and access to a terrace covered with vines, a bedroom with panoramic window and a bathroom.
