Charming farmhouse a short distance from Siena and immersed in the beautiful setting of the Crete Senesi, it consists of the main farmhouse and the annex surrounded by the large land partly kept as a garden, in which there is also a swimming pool and a delightful veranda.
Description
The farmhouse and the annex, both of nineteenth-century origins, cover an area of about 810 square meters. The main farmhouse is on two levels, on the ground floor, in addition to the beautiful and large entrance hall built in the old stable, there are several double bedrooms, some of which have private bathrooms, in some rooms there is a small kitchenette. On the first floor there is a hallway that divides on one side, the main part with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a beautiful living room with very high ceilings, enriched by the fireplace and the kitchen, on the other side there are the remaining double bedrooms, some with private bathroom and a large and comfortable laundry room. The annex consists of the living room with the kitchenette with a small mezzanine, the double bedroom with private bathroom and a second bathroom.
Outdoor
The farm is surrounded by a large fenced garden of about 4,000 square meters in which there are several tall cypresses and trees with wide foliage that give coolness and shade on summer days. The approximately 12 x 6 swimming pool is heated and disinfected with chlorine. Beyond the garden there are still about 4 hectares of land planted with chicory with a small truffle ground, for an organic farm. Adjacent to the main house there is a large covered veranda convenient to use especially in summer, next to this a bathroom and the woodburning room where there is a pizza oven. The large parking area is covered and positioned beyond the garden, for greater peace of mind for the occupants of the house.
Condition and finishes
The farmhouse was renovated at the end of the 90s with an important use of original and typical materials of the area, the use of the newest materials blends well with the ancient ones. The style is typical Tuscan, both internally and externally, with the typical external façade in exposed stone. During this year, a photovoltaic system was built equipped with storage batteries and a charging station for electric vehicles.
Potential uses
Possibility to continue the agritourism activity that has been carried out uninterruptedly for about 25 years with excellent results, or to use the farm as the private residence of a family.
