In a pleasant and private setting but a few kilometers from the well-known and characteristic town of Sarteano, we offer this beautiful stone and plaster farmhouse. The farmhouse is located on an ancient rock that allows it a panoramic view of the entire Val d'Orcia. The property measures 450 square meters, is on two levels, has a large perfectly maintained garden with a Jacuzzi in the most panoramic point of the property. The farmhouse is also close to the ancient abbey of Spineto, and in its land it includes an ancient road traveled in ancient times by the monks. Location
Sarteano is an ancient village dating back to Etruscan times. In fact, the town is famous for its numerous Etruscan tombs and the Etruscan museum, which can currently be visited. A very important event is the Civitas Infernalis, where for a week the village takes you back to the Middle Ages thanks to themed events and concerts. However, the most famous event followed by all the citizens of the town and neighboring towns is in mid-August the Giostra del Saracino, a medieval event that challenges 5 ancient districts to each other in a race with horses, an auction and a ring. The joust is much more, young people and adults together who parade, drum and flag in medieval clothes, an experience to be lived.

The farmhouse is on two levels, measuring a total of about 450 square meters, from the main entrance there is a large living room with large windows overlooking the valley, the dining room and the kitchen, a service bathroom, a laundry room and a bedroom with en suite bathroom. From the ground floor we pass to the first floor with a beautiful open staircase, where we find 5 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and one also with the external loggia that allows access directly from the garden. From the outside you can access the boiler room, a garage and covered parking spaces.

The property includes a large well-kept garden, a vast land of about 14.5 divided between arable land, woods and olive groves with about 150 plants in production. The land includes the ancient road traveled by the monk friars of the Abbey of Spineto, where an ancient cypress of about 150 years called "La Cipressina" takes place.
State and finishing
The farmhouse was completely renovated in the 2000s, it is in excellent condition thanks to the good maintenance done by the owners over the years. It needs minor modernization work.

The farmhouse has been used so far as a holiday home for a large family, but it can be a first home, a second home, a B&B, a farmhouse or a farm and can be used to make an income in the summer.
