Villa Surre is the genius creation and imagination of the Milanese born architect Giuseppe Sommaruga (1867 - 1917). Built in 1912, this is a rare and complex example of pure elegance and haute bourgeoisie and a pure work of art. Sarnico is now one of the most attractive tourist resorts on Lake Iseo, the town still retains a medieval structure in a semi-circle to the layout of the ancient city walls.

Sarnico is not just shopping and history but also culture, right here in fact, in one of these streets, Via San Paolo, is the Art Gallery 'John Bellini.' Besides the paintings are part of the donation valuable antique furniture, marble statues and some important four crucifixes 'professional', a wood and three silver plated copper.

The gallery is located in the oldest part of the 'Palace Gervasoni, a building of the fifteenth-century at the highest point of the Old Town.
