Property - This beautiful Tuscan countryhouse is located in the well known area La Selva, in Santa Fiora, and it hosts a lovely panoramic view over the Fiora valley.
The property is built on two levels following the traditional Tuscan architecture with authentic local stone walls, rustic plaster and handmade Tuscan terracotta floors. The property was accurately renovated in 2005.
The house has a large porch that opens on to two large living areas, one is a kitchen-dining room and the other is a living room with a large fireplace and oven. On the same floor there is another living room, a bedroom and bathroom.
On the upper floor there is a large study room, two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a terrace. The rooms are all carefully furnished and embellished by the presence of beautiful cast iron stoves which implement the heating system.
The whole property is surrounded by a beautiful fenced garden with an electric gate and a large carport with bathroom. In the garden there is also a swimming pool with a large outdoor relaxing area and a summer kitchen area.

Location - La Selva is an enchanting village on the slopes of Mount Amiata, in Santa Fiora. It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, awarded with the Orange Flag for tourism.
This area has a long history dated back to the year one thousand when the Benedictine monks settled in the Convent of the Holy Trinity, donated by the Aldobrandeschi Counts who ruled the area.
The legend surrounding this land comes from the presence of a crocodile head, at the time mistaken for a dragon, preserved in the convent church.
The main attractions in the area are: the Saturnia hot springs, Lake Bolsena and the cities built in the Tufo rock- Sorano, Pitigliano and Sovana
