The town is constantly growing thanks to the on-site services, first of all the marina, the main gateway to the island of Tavolara, and thanks to the services present in the nearby Olbia (passenger port, airport, commerce and entertainment) from which it is just 15 km away. The municipal area is varied, including renowned beaches such as Cala Finanza and Porto Taverna, the marine protected area paradise for divers, up to the hilly area right next to the sea, covered with Mediterranean scrub.
