In an interweaving of history and legend, for 50 years every Saturday and Sunday of the second week of August, it pays homage to "its" Emperor, with the "Historical Parade of Frederick II  Tournament of the Districts".
The Historical Parade involves over a thousand figures in period costume who parade along the main streets of the city, sumptuously decorated with the colorful banners of the four districts: Castello, Judea, Lama and Santo Basilio. The Tournament, on the other hand, is a real challenge between the districts, with duels that revive the tournaments of the medieval era.
