The property is very close to the thermal baths of Monsummano and Montecatini Terme. Strategic location between Florence and the sea of Versilia. The dominant position on the Valdinievole, the hill of Monsummano was fortified at least from the eleventh century with a defensive system that grew and expanded over time until it included the entire top of the hill in the late Middle Ages. Monsummano is known for its precious thermal springs, fed by warm waters that allow for beneficial and relaxing baths. The peculiarity that distinguishes this place of relaxation is the Giusti cave, an underground gallery kept in a centuries-old park, defined, by Giuseppe Verdi, as the eighth wonder of the world. Much loved by the Medici, Monsummano was the favorite place for their hunting trips.
