This old farm property  is located in a quiet yet convenient location in the countryside just north of Perugia. The house

This is another example of an abandoned farmhouse. Once home to a bustling family it got left behind and is by now overgrown. It might not worth saving the building, and instead be best to demolish and rebuilt. The positive part about that is that the buyer can then obviously fully personalise the home. There is approved project available, but one can also decide to redesign the house entirely. Please note that in Umbria certain restrictions can be applicable where the exterior appearance of a house is concerned.

The work

The land covers about 12 ha and consist mostly of gently sloping woodlands. Behind the house lies an olive grove that with some Tlc can be fully recuperated. It will be possible to build a pool. The amount of land is more than enough to be able to start an agriturismo.

Surroudings

The property is located in an beautiful area that has inspired many people to start agriturismi, B&B's and other activities. It's also the location of Alcatraz, a cultural center offering a wide range of activities.  The nearest amenities are located in a village at 8.5 km distance. Plenty of other interesting cities and sites are within easy reach. Gubbio offers a stunning historic center and lies at  ... Km distance. The bustling ancient university town of Perugia, capital of Umbria is 25 km away. Of course also Assisi (38 km)  is worth a visit.  It is one of the most popular pilgrimage places in the whole of Italy but is also know for the Nature Park of Monte Subasio. The nearest golf course (27 km) can be found near Umbertide whereas the closest international airport is next to Perugia (23 km).
