Built at the very beginning of the 15th century by the Fortini family, the Villa lies in a pocket of Florentine countryside that historically provided wealthy families with quiet and fresh air, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. In 1420, it passed onto the Bardi family, then to Giovanni della Stufa and eventually to the renowned artist Benvenuto Cellini in 1548.

The Villa is situated at the end of an unpaved private road, cutting through olive groves and scenic Tuscan countryside.

The Villa of 617 sqm features three floors, a generous basement (the old Cantine) and a garage and it is surrounded by an Italian Garden. The entire property is fenced off, enveloped by secular olive groves and with a stunning view over Fiesole.
