Location & life style
The property is located a few kilometers from Chianciano Terme, in the province of Siena, a rather well-known location. The reason is suggested, precisely, by the name itself: its thermal baths are among the most important in Italy. This is thanks to its particularly fertile soil, located between the Val di Chiana and the clays of the Val d'Orcia, and a stone's throw from Montepulciano.The properties of the waters of Chianciano Terme are not a recent discovery: the Etruscans and Romans had made it the reason for their settlement in that area. But Chianciano does not end with its waters: there are many opportunities to visit monuments of interest. An example is Villa Simoneschi, a building built around the first decades of the nineteenth century. In addition to the neoclassical chapel and bell tower, the visitor's attention will be drawn to the garden which contains a considerable amount of rare plants. Another place of interest is the Villa La Foce, an ancient tavern, also characterized by a splendid garden. As far as religious architecture is concerned, we point out the Church of the Immaculate Conception and the Church of the Madonna della Rosa.And, finally, the two museums: the Civic Archaeological Museum of the Waters, located in the former granary of Villa Simoneschi, where a large number of archaeological materials are preserved and the Art Museum of Chianciano Terme, where you can find both works of contemporary art,  and an Asian art section.
Description
This beautiful farmhouse of about 460 square meters, partly used as a main residence and partly as a farmhouse, is located between the Val D'Orcia and the Val di Chiana surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. In perfect condition and renovated with materials typical of the most authentic Tuscan tradition and consists of two detached bodies, the main building is spread over three levels with three apartments plus a garage, while the other smaller building is spread over a single floor and has recently been transformed into a small restaurant also open to people outside the farmhouse.
