Castiglion Fiorentino is a small municipality in Tuscany located a few km from important centers such as Cortona and Arezzo, both reachable in about 15 minutes by car. In the Renaissance, also thanks to its proximity to Florence, the village was subject to urban planning interventions which find their maximum expression in the Vasari Loggia which decorates the main square.
