The current owners in the renovation of the building have built the main house of about 150 square meters and a secondary home with independent entrance for guests of about 70 square meters as well as an accessory room on the ground floor for warehouse use where there is a further bedroom with bathroom.

The nearest village (Castelnuovo Val di Cecina) is just 5 minutes by car with all the main services such as bank, post office, bus lines and typical clubs and restaurants. Pisa International Airport is about 1 hour and a half away.

Dotted with small villages, the territory is particularly varied and ranges from the mountain atmosphere to the Mediterranean scrub, and then moves on to the hills covered with vineyards and olive groves.
Castelnuovo is a destination suitable for nature lovers: from the ancient medieval village there are several nature trails that reach places of historical interest, such as the bridge over the Pavone stream, or panoramic points from which you can admire the Val di Cornia and the Gulf of Piombino. 
The area where Castelnuovo Val di Cecina is located is also called Valle del Diavolo for the widespread presence of boraciferous shower heads, already famous at the time of Dante Alighieri who, probably, was inspired by this landscape to describe Hell in the Divine Comedy.
