In quiet position, easily reachable via a narrow  road, is for sale this stone country house portion, part of a seventeenth-century convent, with a surface of 150 square meters. The restoration works were carried out in 2002 by the current owners using excellent materials and trying to preserve most of the original structure such as wooden beams , fireplaces , stone walls and some frescoed decorations of ancient origin on the first floor. An important touch of modernity is given by the underfloor heating (Gpl gas)  and the roofing with insulation and the possibility of installing solar panels (included in the sale but not installed yet) for the hot water supply. The current division of the rooms is outlined as follows: on the ground floor, slightly raised above street level and reachable via an external staircase and two small terraces, there is entrance into a large kitchen/dining room with old fireplac and covered small brisk loggia, and sitting room, from which a wooden staircase leads onto the first floor with two spacious bedrooms and bathroom with tub. In the basement there is a large technical room, a guest room with exit to the outside and  laundry.  Few meters away from the country house  is an olive grove of about 8000 square meters . Part of this land is used as a garden and fruit trees of various kinds have been planted there. Water is provided by a perennial spring.

Appreciated since the eighteenth century for its ancient olive groves, the Monte Pisano is knopwn for its Romanesque parish churches, medieval fortresses, ancient convents and the magnificent Certosa di Calci or Pisa. From the small villages, built on the slopes of the mountains, you can admire a panorama that extends from the Pisan hills to the Florentine plain, from the Apuan Alps to the sea. The climate of this area is fine, thanks to windy summers and mostly mild winters and, although it is still an area with a rural vocation, shops, services and amenities in the hamlet of Calci make life in this place very easy and convenient. The internation airport is only 30 minutes away while the sea 35 minutes drive.
