The Village of Lifta: The village of Lifta, as well as a national nature reserve under the management of the Jerusalem Municipality, is a historical village. Located about 15 minutes by foot from Jerusalem. 
Some recognize Lifta as the biblical town of Mei Naftoach. Most of the houses in Lifta were built during the Ottoman Era. Archeological findings suggest that it was first inhabited almost 4,000 years ago.
