I'm finally selling my beloved family apartment in Piraeus. NO Real Estate in between!! Direct contact with the owner. All the documents needed are ready. The property has no debts and everything is legal. This apartment is a penthouse (retir) in the 6th floor of an 1980 building in Kallipoli area, Piraeus. West orientated, it has an amazing Sea view and lots of Light. Spectacular Sunsets every evening. When is not too cloudy, you can see the island of Aegina perfectly clear. What makes this place very special is not only the view, but the combination of it with so much quietness, what is not common to find together. You can't hear any traffic or city noises, only seagulls and sometimes the kids of the school close by playing. It gives a deep feeling of peacefulness, as you were living in a village. It is really very very calm. The sea is only 3 minutes walking from here. I use to swim there almost every day, but if you prefer the beach of Freatrida is 10min walking. Dimotik Theatro Metro station is around 20min by walk, but there are several buses taking you there. Same for Passalimani. The neighbourhood is peaceful and friendly, and you can find close by everything you need in everyday life: shops, cafs, tavernas, supermarkets, doctors, schools and several lakis (local food open markets). And of course the Port is close by, open door to most of the Greek islands. But I guess if you are looking for a property in Piraeus this you already knew! About the apartment itself, it is 63m2 plus a big balcony of 20m2. To have a clear idea of the spaces distribution you can have a look on the last picture of the floor plan. The kitchen and the bathroom have been renovated a few years ago, but the flat still needs works to be fixed. The most of the floors are in marble, except the renovated areas and the terrace that are on tiles. All the windows have double glass and aluminium frames, and they are pretty new. Same for the security door of the entrance. The kitchen is open to the living room, where there is a nice fire place. The whole apartment needs definitely to be painted. In the main room it would be possible to open easily a second balcony (for washing machine, cleaning things, etc.) The second room used to be part of the balcony, but was built by my father when I was going to be born. It has been legalized, and I made it the best office spot in the world ! You have also access to the terrasse upstairs and a little piece of land downstairs that you can use as a garden. Those are both common areas for all the neighbours of the building, but in fact I have been the only one using them all this years. Specially the huge roof terrasse offers an incredible panoramic view and is great for barbecue parties! I would love to find a person with a soul, able to understand the potential and the special energy of this place. Ideal for a couple or a single sea lover..! In order to make us both parts safe time, I wish to be clear and transparent also about the negative points: The apartment is partially renovated but still needs investment to be properly fixed. There is no banister on the balcony ; the second room has some leaks when it rains too strong ; there is no heating and the electric is quiet old. I would also change the bathrooms door and opening a second balcony would absolutely improve the property.And painting is a must! There is no parking. Mosquitos And yes, the building is not new.
