The village of Drapanos is a very peaceful village up the hills in Apokoronas, yet there are a couple of shops within easy walking distance, as well as a couple of restaurants/tavernas. 

The closest beach is the beach resort of Almyrida where one can find numerous shops, restaurants, cafes, bakery, pharmacy, mini markets, Atm and more. 

The well known villages of Kefalas, Vamos and Kalyves with their amenities, are just a short drive away and are fully functioning villages all year round!
