There is easy access to the national highway - from there it is just a 25-minute drive to Chania. The views from this house are spectacular - panoramic views of the sea, countryside and White Mountains.

The long pebbly beach which extends from Kolymbari in the west to Chania in the east is ideal for swimming, especially on calm days. Near the beach there are a few tavernas and restaurants, and other shops, tavernas and cafes can be found in the village. Tavronitis is an active, working village which remains open during the winter.
