Located in Agios Nikolaos.<br />This is a two storey village house in the village of Pirgos, Kalo Chorio, Agios Nikolaos, Crete.<br />The house was purchased and renovated by its current owners in 2014.<br />Kalo Chorio is a seaside village only a 10 minute drive to the province capital, Agios Nikolaos.<br />It is known for its very nice beaches and there are shops (super market, pharmacy, bakers) cafes and taverns in the village.<br /><br />The house has good road access and there is parking nearby.<br />It stands on two floors the entrance to the house is on the top floor where there is a kitchen /dining room, a guest toilet and a large living room with wooden floors. There is a balcony in front of the kitchen which enjoys very nice views of the village and the sea.<br /><br />On the lower floor there are two double bedrooms(one of which has access to a small balcony) and a bathroom.<br /><br />The flat tiled roof on top of the house is ideal to be used a s a roof terrace with nice sea views.<br /><br />AGIOS NIKOLAOS<br /><br />Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the county Lasithi and is located at the Mirabello Bay, north-east Crete, only 45 mins away from the international airport of Heraklion<br /><br />Geographically the town is well protected from strong winds allowing sea sports and swimming nearly all year round<br /><br />Although Agios Nikolaos has a population of less than 20,000 it has a several banks, supermarkets, shops of every kind, doctors, a modern hospital of high standard, public swimming pool and tennis courts, yacht marina, harbour, cinema, theatre, gyms, a 9-hole golf course, schools ranging from nurseries to 6-level high school and generally all the amenities you would expect to find in a modern European town.<br /><br />The microclimate is one of the best in Greece and the moderate temperatures rarely exceed 30c in summer or fall below 15c in wintertime. This wonderful dry climate together with the natural beauty of the area has attracted most of the high class hotels of Greece to operate here.<br /><br />
