Domaine Le Bois Senis is located in Poitou-charentes (Deux-Svres) in the village of Les Forges and consists of 98 dwellings. A 1-hour drive from Les Forges, you will find yourself in the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park, a beautiful picturesque landscape with marsh and meadows. It is one of the largest wetlands in Europe. Here you will find a variety of sandy beaches, dunes and forests, but also cliffs and mudflats at the bay of Aiguillon, a flooded swamp. Marais Poitevin is a destination par excellence for nature lovers.The centre of the village is within walking distance (500 metres) where there is an English pub and a local shop (with daily fresh bread, vegetables etc.). 4 kilometers away is the larger village of Vasles where all other amenities are available.Centrally located in the park is the general swimming pool with children's pool, intended for the residents of the park.
