Superb castle of the late fifteenth century remodeled in the eighteenth in full registered in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments.
The east façade, on the main courtyard, has retained its medieval elements and its stair turret while the west façade opens its large windows pierced in the eighteenth century on a French garden with basin and canal.
On the ground floor: entrance hall, large living room of 43 m² with a Gothic fireplace Ismh, dining room of 30 m² with eighteenth-century décor and a painted ceiling, an office of 20 m² with a barrel vault, a library of 30 m², a groin vaulted bedroom and another bedroom with a seventeenth-century painted ceiling,  kitchen and bathroom. The ground floor has underfloor city gas heating. Access to the floors is via a wide spiral staircase of the fifteenth century.
On the first floor: large gallery recently restored of 55 m² with a richly carved door overlooking the chapel. It has preserved its murals (one from the Gothic period and the other 3 from the eighteenth century) and stained glass windows from the nineteenth as well as its 2 ribbed vaults. The gallery serves 4 other large rooms to restore and a boudoir with its painted door and Louis XV gypseries.
On the second floor: gallery of 28 m², two living rooms of 54 m² and 53 m², a kitchen-dining room of 28 m² overlooking a south-facing terrace, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a bedroom of 18 m² with its eighteenth-century woodwork. This floor is heated with city gas.
Frame and roof were completely redone in 1990. In total the castle develops about 680 m² of living space. Not subject to the Dpe.
Many outbuildings, in good condition, border the courtyard. A large orangery offers a beautiful reception room of 124 m² with an entrance of 32 m² and a catering kitchen of 25 m². A workshop of 97 m². 2 barns of 75 and 42 m². A caretaker's accommodation includes a living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.128 m² of vaulted cellars and 2 rooms, for exhibition use.
An 8 X 4 swimming pool, facing south with its pool house, dominates the beautiful gardens also Ismh. On an area of a total of 2.6 ha, the gardens were recreated 17 years ago according to the eighteenth century order respecting terraces and ponds. To the south, the English-inspired garden offers a temple of waters with its columns, a green cloister, a geometric garden, a hollow garden with its pond, a shade garden, a rose garden, an exotic garden, a white garden and Darius' garden. To the west, a garden with a classic layout with a pond dominates a small canal. The castle in its entirety and its gardens are Ishh: the work is therefore challenging, and subsidies are possible.
This ensemble, of major architectural interest, has a lot of charm and allows many commercial and tourist opportunities. It is located in the Puy-de-Dôme, close to a large city and a motorway exit.
